چکیده

The H2020-project OPTIMA concept of smart sprayer relies on several functionalities, including variable nozzle spacing for bed-grown carrots, based an air-assisted boom sprayer. A prototype was designed and evaluated though canopy deposition, ground losses, spray drift potential. Four bed configurations, various types, angles, sizes (XR8004, combination AIUB8504/AI11004, AI8004, XR8002) at the most appropriate height, were tested compared to a broadcast application (XR11004). Deposition measurements performed carrots in bins early full-grown stages with respective target zone width 1.4 m 2.2 m. Spray potential following ISO 22401, 2015. equipped air sleeve providing different speeds (0, 4, 8 s−1). relative depositions both growth showed significant effect configuration lowest values found application. configurations consisting inclusion nozzles generated application, although not significantly different. Bed can thus improve conventional when height are adjusted stage.

Spray Mix Adjuvants for Spray Drift Mitigation

Numerous drift reduction adjuvants and spray deposition aids are available to applicators of crop production and protection chemicals. Performance of many of the newly introduced drift control adjuvants has not been well documented for aerial application. Since there are no product labeling or efficacy regulations for these adjuvants, applicators must rely on experience or information in the te...

fabrication of new ion sensitive field effect transistors (isfet) based on modification of junction-fet for analysis of hydronium, potassium and hydrazinium ions

a novel and ultra low cost isfet electrode and measurement system was designed for isfet application and detection of hydronium, hydrazinium and potassium ions. also, a measuring setup containing appropriate circuits, suitable analyzer (advantech board), de noise reduction elements, cooling system and pc was used for controlling the isfet electrode and various characteristic measurements. the t...

Evaluation and Mitigation of Spray Drift

Definition of Drift When liquids are forced under pressure through small orifices (like sprayer nozzles) they are sheared into small aerosols or particles having nearly a thousand fold range in spherical diameters. Owing to gravitational forces and the viscosity of air, the rate of fall to ground can be predicted by Stokes Law and is proportional to the radius of the particles. The rate of fall...
